Efendić: Wings of Freedom are Spreading, We Know How to Fight for It

(Patria) - On Golo Brdo, one of the highest elevations in the municipality of Novi Grad, where aggressors in the period from 1992 to 1995 carried out fierce attacks with the aim of taking over this point, as well as the Žuč hill area, where decisive battles were fought for the defense of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the memorial monument "Wings of Freedom", a symbol of defense and remembrance of the bravest sons of our homeland, is being built.



The construction site was visited by the Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality Sarajevo, Semir Efendić, who wrote the following along with the photos he published:

"The wings of freedom are spreading! And rising! We know who fought for it. And we know how to protect freedom. We know how to fight for it! And remember! And celebrate!" – wrote Semir Efendić, Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality Sarajevo.
