Ef. Velić: Bosniaks are the loudest, but other nations are starting to cheer loudly too

Muhamed ef. Velić presented an interesting reflection today ahead of tonight's match between BiH and Ireland, which the Patria News Agency conveys in its entirety:

- Today is an important day for Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens. Tonight, the BiH national team is playing the first playoff match against the Irish national team. Those who say it's just football - an unimportant matter - are wrong, because it's not just football, it's much more than sport. National, socio-political, economic interests, as well as religious feelings, are also reflected here.

Tonight, all citizens and nations of BiH will watch and cheer for their national team. Of course, in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Mostar. Naturally, Bosniaks are the loudest in that love, but other nations are also starting to cheer loudly. Although they are still quite quiet and afraid of politics.

But we are not afraid and we want to. Since today is Friday, the blessed day of Jumu'ah, we will recite a prayer for our national team during the Jumu'ah prayer. There is nothing controversial or contrary to religious teachings in this. Because, if the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), encouraged a group (Banu Arfida) in his mosque while sword dances and games were being performed, saying: "Dunekum, ya Beni Arfida" - "Don't give up and be brave, Sons of Arfida", so shall we say: "Dunekum, ya Beni Bosna!" - "Be brave, Sons of Bosnia!"
