Mufti Kozlić: We will celebrate the next Bajram in the restored Ferhadija mosque

In the mesjid of the Ferhad Pasha Mosque in Banja Luka, the Bajram prayer was performed this morning. A large number of believers gathered in this Banja Luka mosque, and the prayer was led and the khutbah delivered by Mufti Osman ef. Kozlić, Patria reports.

Along with the Bajram greetings extended to Muslims living in the area of the Banja Luka muftiship, as well as to those celebrating this holiday away from their hometown, Mufti Kozlić said that Eid al-Adha means drawing closer to God and signifies the sacrifice that every believer must make.

- Each of us should sacrifice a part of our wealth, effort, time, knowledge, and skill for the common good - Kozlić said.

Incidentally, the restoration of the Ferhadija Mosque is nearing completion, and believers will celebrate the next Bajram as they once did before the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the destruction of this mosque.

- By the end of this construction season, work on Ferhadija should be completed, and the grand opening will take place in the summer of next year - said ef. Kozlić.
