(Patria) - Damir Džumhur is playing a quarterfinal match today against Australian Alex De Minaur at the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Shenzhen, China, with a prize fund of 800 thousand dollars.
The best Bosnian tennis player, ranked 39th in the ATP rankings and seeded fourth, defeated qualifier Ramkumar Ramanathan (134th ATP) from India 6:4, 6:2 in the 2nd round, while De Minaur, the 40th ATP player, was better than American Mackenzie McDonald 1:6, 7:6, 6:0.
This will be the second match between Džumhur and De Minaur. In their first encounter, played in January this year in Sydney, Džumhur retired at a score of 6:3, 3:0.
The match starts at 9:40 AM.
