Džumhur retires from match in Czech Republic

Damir Džumhur retired from a match in the Czech Republic. Džumhur retired from the match against Italian tennis player Guido Andreozzi, who celebrated after the Sarajevan's retirement with a 1-0 lead in sets and 4-1 for the Italian after an hour and 16 minutes of play.

As officially announced, Džumhur injured his ankle during yesterday's training session, which unfortunately did not hold up until the end of the match, and due to pain and poor mobility, he eventually retired from the match. 

Regarding qualification for the Olympics - Damir is on the borderline according to his ranking, but he is first among countries that do not have their own representative in Rio at the Olympic tournament, which means he will likely receive one of the two planned special invitations.
