Džumhur unstoppable in Mexico: Victory over Lopez secures semi-final spot

The best Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur continued his excellent performances at the tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico, reports the Patria agency.

Džumhur celebrated one of the most important victories of his career in the quarter-finals, defeating the 28th-ranked player in the world, Spaniard Feliciano Lopez, with a score of 2-1.

The Spaniard won the first set in a tie-break 7:6, but our tennis player found the strength to make a great comeback in the remainder of the match.

In the second set, he won 6:4, and in the decisive third set, he triumphed in a tie-break to secure a place in the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, he will face the excellent American Sam Querrey, currently the 24th-ranked player on the world rankings list.
