Bosnia's top tennis player Damir Džumhur advanced to the third round of the ATP 250 series tournament in Winston-Salem, USA, reports the Patria agency.
Our player triumphed in the second round against the brilliant Frenchman Gilles Simon with a 2-1 set score (6:4, 1:6, 6:4).
In the third decisive set, Džumhur was trailing 1:4, but then with brilliant play he won five consecutive games and turned the set in his favor.
In the next round of the tournament worth $664,825, Džumhur will play against Argentine Horacio Zeballos, the 58th-ranked player in the world.
