Bosnia's top tennis player Damir Džumhur has continued with brilliant performances at tournaments in the United States, reports the Patria agency.
Džumhur defeated Uzbek tennis player Denis Istomin 2-0 in sets (6:4, 6:4) in the first round of the ATP 250 tournament in Winston-Salem.
In the second round, Džumhur will play against the brilliant Frenchman Gilles Simon.
For our tennis player, the tournament in Winston-Salem is a dress rehearsal ahead of the last Grand Slam tournament of the season, the US Open.
