Congregation members in Goražde donated blood

The Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Mufti's Office of Goražde and the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Goražde, organized a blood donation drive on Friday, September 5, 2014, after the Friday prayer in the building of the Islamic Cultural and Educational Center in Goražde, reports the Patria News Agency.

Last Friday, imams in all congregations of the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Goražde, and the Office of the Mufti of Goražde via Radio-Television of the Bosansko-Podrinjski Canton Goražde informed the congregation members about this drive. By donating blood, donors helped provide this essential and irreplaceable medicine for numerous injured and ill people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus demonstrating humanity and solidarity in action.
