(Patria) - Zmajevi captain Edin Džeko said after the defeat to Switzerland (4:1) that it was a tough loss.
"The score is certainly too high, a tough loss in the end. We couldn't hold on in those last 20 minutes. We conceded goals naively; this is such a competition that you cannot underestimate any ball. At 1-0, when we got the red card, we should have closed up more and thought about not conceding another goal, while trying to use one or two chances up front."
Regarding the match against Qatar on June 24, Džeko said the game will not be easy.
"That Qatar is not what everyone expects either; it won't be an easy match, but first we need to rest and prepare. This defeat today certainly hurts, because goal difference can also decide," Džeko concluded.
