Džaferović meets with representative of the Socialists and German SPD group in the European Parliament

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović met with Dietmar Köster, a representative of the Socialists and German SPD group in the European Parliament. They discussed the current security and political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BiH Presidency member Džaferović emphasized that the ruling structures in the RS, led by Milorad Dodik, are attacking state institutions and undermining the foundations of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He stated that the laws announced by Dodik can only be implemented through the unlawful use of force, and that the unlawful use of force against state institutions represents a frontal assault on peace. BiH Presidency member Džaferović informed Köster about the blockades of institutions that representatives of the RS entity have been carrying out for three years, with varying intensity and on various pretexts, through non-attendance or voting against all decisions, thereby causing damage to the state and all citizens.

He also pointed out that the blockade is accompanied by unilateral attacks on the Office of the High Representative, as the only constitutional mechanism for unblocking institutions.

Special attention was devoted to the activities and plans of the European Parliament, particularly the Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina group, regarding the situation in BiH and the Western Balkans region.
