Džaferović with Sattler and Ambassadors: Resolving the 14 EC Opinion Priorities

)Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović spoke with ambassadors of the European Union member states and the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Johann Sattler. The topics of the video conference were the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regional cooperation, and political relations in our country.

Special attention was paid to resolving the 14 priorities from the European Commission's Opinion. Chairman Džaferović emphasized that it is in BiH's vital interest to fulfill all priorities from the European Commission's Opinion as soon as possible, and that significant progress has been made since the end of April, such as resolving the issue of elections in Mostar, forming the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association, and initiating public administration reforms.

Chairman Džaferović informed the ambassadors that additional efforts are being made to expedite the resolution of issues concerning the Public Procurement Law, the Law on Conflict of Interest, the Law on the HJPC, and the adoption of the Strategy for the Prosecution of War Crimes. Chairman Džaferović informed the EU ambassadors about the position of the BiH Presidency regarding the so-called "Mini Schengen". He emphasized that any initiative that contributes to economic progress and better relations in the region will have support, but it is important that this process is under the auspices of the European Union and its institutions.
