Džaferović with Chollet: Unacceptable erosion of the constitutional order

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović spoke by phone with Derek Chollet, advisor to the US Secretary of State, about the current crisis and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its security implications.

The support of the United States for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for the reform progress achieved in the past 26 years through the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, was confirmed.

It was emphasized that the erosion of the constitutional order and the Dayton Agreement undertaken by the institutions of the RS entity is unacceptable.

It was stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina needs de-escalation of the situation, based on strict respect for the constitutional and institutional order, and a return to the reform path, through dialogue in state institutions, it was announced from the BiH Presidency.
