Džaferović receives female law students from the University of Sarajevo

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received female law students from the University of Sarajevo who won first prize at the international Trans-European Moot Court Competition.
 
Along with students Anesa Karaman, Delila Islamović and Lamija Dedagić, members of the team that won first prize, the reception was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, Zinka Grbo, and Harun Išerić, assistant at the Faculty of Law and coach of the winning team.  
 
Members of the winning team also include student Emina Kukuljac and Anesa Šećerkadić, as a coach of the winning team.
 
Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Džaferović congratulated the winners and the Faculty of Law, saying that this exceptional success deserves the attention of everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is a reason for pride.  
 
He added that this event confirms that Bosnia and Herzegovina has educated and very capable young people, as well as higher education institutions that are capable of competing with the most prestigious faculties in Europe. The competition was held in Strasbourg, in the courtroom of the European Court of Human Rights, and the decision on the winner was made by a panel consisting of judges of the European Court of Human Rights.
 
The winning team of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo first proved to be the best among the representatives of law faculties in the region, and in the final competition, they defeated
representatives of the Faculty of Law from Copenhagen.
