Džaferović: Cerić's candidacy is not good for Bosniaks

Dr. Mustafa Cerić will announce his decision on the announced candidacy for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the public tomorrow, and after this announcement, there have been numerous reactions to this news, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Thus, in a statement to NAP, Šefik Džaferović, vice-president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), says that Cerić has the right to run and that it is his active and passive electoral right.

- There is no dilemma about that, but I must emphasize that he is a two-decade highest official of the Islamic Community in BiH, and I think that candidacy is not good for the institution of the Reis-ul-ulema, it is not good for the position of a member of the BiH Presidency, i.e., the highest representative of Bosniaks in the institutions, and I think it is not good for the Bosniaks themselves – says Džaferović.
