
(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, Margret Uebber.
During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany regarding the coronavirus pandemic. It was noted that the coronavirus pandemic is a global challenge that can only be addressed through joint action and solidarity.
It was jointly assessed that authorities at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina have taken decisive and appropriate measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. They also discussed possibilities for aid from Germany and the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the procurement of medical equipment and protective gear needed to combat the spread of the pandemic.
Chairman Džaferović thanked Germany and Chancellor Angela Merkel for all the assistance provided to our country so far, and wished the Chancellor, who is in self-isolation, good health.
