Džaferović and Komšić's Cabinet meet with the Quint: Blockade of state institutions' work absolutely unacceptable

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović and members of the cabinet of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić met today with the ambassadors of the Quint member states and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The topic of discussion was the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the crisis caused by the blockade of state institutions by representatives of political parties from the entity of RS.

Member of the Presidency Džaferović informed the ambassadors of the USA, Eric Nelson, Great Britain, Matt Field, Germany, Margret Uebber, France, Guillaume Rousson, and Italy, Nicola Minasi, and the EU representative in BiH, Johann Sattler, of the position that the two members of the Presidency of BiH will not agree to any political ultimatums. He emphasized that the blockade of state institutions' work is absolutely unacceptable.

The firm stance of the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their strong commitment to strictly respecting the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of BiH, and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina were conveyed to the ambassadors.

The role of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the foreign judges within it was underlined as a mechanism for protecting the Constitution of BiH, the sovereignty, and the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Member of the Presidency Džaferović emphasized that all solutions must be the result of dialogue, exclusively within the framework of the BiH Constitution and European standards, and certainly not attempts at domination or the ultimate imposition of anyone's policy.
