Two Albanians Charged with Human Smuggling

The prosecutor of Department III of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Bledar Tafili, born on 11.02.1984 in Kruje, Albania, a citizen of Albania, and Arsild Toska, born on 01.11.1991 in Kruje, Albania, a citizen of Albania, reports the Patria news agency.

The accused are charged with, on 14.09.2015, after prior agreement, with the intent to obtain unlawful property gain in the amount of 120 euros, enabling one person to illegally cross the state border from Montenegro into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the indictment, the accused, after prior agreement, transported the person near the border crossing "Klobuk", after which the person bypassed the official border crossing on foot, while they meanwhile crossed the border crossing "Klobuk" with valid travel documents, and then waited for the said person inside Bosnia and Herzegovina, who entered the vehicle, after which they were found in the vehicle during a check by police officers of the Trebinje Border Police Unit.

The accused are charged with, with the intent to obtain unlawful property gain, enabling another person to illegally cross the state border, thereby committing the criminal offense of smuggling, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
