Pair stole a car and drove around Sarajevo for two days

Police officers of the III Police Station on X Transverzala street last night around 17:30 stopped and checked a passenger motor vehicle of the brand "VW Golf 2", driven by driver B.J. from Sarajevo, and in the passenger seat was R.A. from Sarajevo. Checks revealed that the vehicle in question was stolen on 24.01.2016 from Kemal Kapetanović street, municipality of Novo Sarajevo, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- Due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of aggravated theft, B.J., born in 1991 in Doboj, and R.A., born in 1987 in Sarajevo, both residing in Sarajevo, were deprived of their liberty. 

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and B.J. and R.A. were handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue to work on clarifying and documenting the criminal activities of the mentioned individuals.
