Two Council of Ministers sessions on March 11: Migrations and 2019 work program on the agenda

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The continuation of the interrupted 167th session of the BiH Council of Ministers is scheduled for Monday, March 11, and the 168th session is also planned for the same day.

The proposed agenda for the continuation of the 167th session should include the Proposal of the Decision on the cessation of the Project Implementation Unit for the construction of the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Pre-trial Detention and Other Measures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Pre-trial Detention and Other Measures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of BiH.

The Council of Ministers will also consider the Proposal of the Decision on determining the start date of the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Pre-trial Detention and Other Measures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also proposed by the Ministry of Justice of BiH.

The Proposal of the Work Program of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2019 should also be on this session's agenda, proposed by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Ministers in the Council of Ministers will also consider the Information on the situation in the field of migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to the increased inflow of migrants to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Proposal of the Decision on determining temporary reception centers for accommodating migrants at the location of the "Bira" factory and the "Borići" student dormitory in Bihać. The proposer of the decision is the Ministry of Security of BiH.

The agenda for the 168th session should include the Proposal of the Decision on adopting the Communication Strategy on the process of Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the European Union – from candidate status to membership, along with the Proposal of the said strategy. The proposer is the Directorate for European Integration.

Ministers should also consider the Information "Overview of EU requests for harmonization and analysis of deficiencies in the agriculture, food and rural development sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017". The proposer is the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.

Reports on work for 2018 are also proposed for the agenda: State Commission for Cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); Report on the work of the Office for Legislation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina; Report on the work of the Public Service Appeals Board of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Report on the work of the Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
