(Patria) - Twelve long-standing members of the SDP Novi Grad have left the party and joined the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (SBiH), citing dissatisfaction with the SDP's policies and personnel decisions. The former members criticise the leadership for nepotism, violations of the statute, and disregard for calls for change.
They emphasise that they decided to join the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina because this party represents a consistent state-building policy that respects the fundamental values of Bosnia and Herzegovina and provides space for effective and productive work in the interest of citizens.
They particularly highlighted the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina's stance on "red lines" that the party never crosses when it comes to the interests of the state, unlike the SDP's policy, which has lost credibility among citizens.
Welcome to the new members of SBiH was extended by SBiH President Semir Efendić, Enes Peštek, President of the Novi Grad Municipal Council and delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH, and Edina Gabela, SBiH representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH.
