Duraković: The Trojka is a Russian horse-drawn sleigh whose master dictates direction and pace with the reins

(Patria) - Today, traitors are those who create alliances and make dramatic concessions to Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, said professor Esad Duraković in tonight's edition of the show Polis on TVSA.

He said that the federal prime minister Nermin Nikšić signed a decision exempting the BiH Attorney's Office regarding state property.

"The state is being dispossessed, it is being given away as one pleases. The Constitutional Court of BiH made a decision that state property is to be disposed of by the state. Because what kind of state is it that has no property of its own. These days, the decision of the Constitutional Court is being undermined so that certain structures could manage the property. And that is a form of treason. State property must be preserved, and the decisions of the Constitutional Court must be respected," said the professor.

He emphasizes that the aggression against BiH has not ended because the goals of that aggression have not been achieved.

"The fundamental problem lies in the aggressive aspirations of Croatia and Serbia, which have not renounced territorial pretensions towards BiH, and their contractors are Dodik and Čović."

Professor Duraković also had a message for the international community, which he believes can "quite simply slap the wrists of both the Croatian and Serbian establishments to leave BiH alone."

"Bosniak and pro-Bosnian politicians are not up to the situation, they have no initiative. They react only after Dodik's and Čović's moves, instead of having a vision and strategy. The Trojka is extremely servile, uncreative, without vision or strategy," he said.

He added that the Trojka reminds him of a parable:

"The Trojka is actually a Russian horse-drawn sleigh with bells that pulls a sleigh carrying the owner, at a trot or gallop, depending on how the master controls the reins and dictates both direction and pace," he pointed out.

He stated that BiH politicians should call press conferences, put pressure on the High Representative, and articulate positions towards the international community.

He believes that Dodik could tomorrow carry out the Cyprusization of BiH and that he is amazed by the people who are apathetic and do nothing.

"Let's have civil resistance, some civil articulation regarding what is happening around us. I appeal to citizens, to the media, to my colleagues from the academic community to do something," Duraković said.
