Duraković at central rally: Srebrenica must not fall into the hands of those who deny genocide

Today, the central pre-election rally was held in the crowded House of Culture in Srebrenica, where the SDA and SBB candidates for councilors and the joint candidate of pro-Bosniak parties for mayor of Srebrenica, Ćamil Duraković, were presented, reports the Patria News Agency.

Duraković stated that "the difference between us and them is in what each side offers".

- While they offer fear, we offer development. I am honored to have the support of parties that have never forgotten Srebrenica. Srebrenica must not fall and must not end up in the hands of those who do not think about the future and who deny genocide. On October 2nd, the entirety of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be defended in Srebrenica - said Duraković.

Addressing the people of Srebrenica, Radončić thanked them for their readiness to defend Srebrenica and to win.

- It is the obligation of each of us that Ćamil Duraković is ours and only ours. Let's invite all our friends, and all those who have the right to vote, let's enable everyone to come here to give their vote to Duraković, because Bosniaks and this city where genocide occurred deserve to be led by a wise, intelligent, and young Bosniak. The greatest victory over their referendum will be the one in seven days, the victory of our mayor and our list - stated Radončić.

Izetbegović urged the people of Srebrenica to support Duraković for mayor.

- He will represent all the people in Srebrenica. He can hold any position in this country. He has the knowledge, experience, and courage. Protect him, rally around him. It must not happen that Srebrenica falls again - said Izetbegović.
