Duraković: Bosniaks cannot survive without BiH, that would be a new Gaza

(Patria) - We were game for the West, just as the children of Palestine are game today. Israel's goal is to eliminate Arabs, and Gaza is written off for them. I condemn the terrorist act of Hamas and the suffering of civilians, but the world seems to have ridden Lucifer and as if it is being led towards the abyss, I do not know who can stop this genocide being committed in Gaza, said academician Esad Duraković in an interview for Mreža.

"What is happening now in the Middle East is preparation for Armageddon. Israel's goal is to eliminate Arabs, not just Gaza, which is written off, then comes the West Bank, the Zionists plan to conquer Jordan, Sinai, part of Iraq, even part of Saudi Arabia. They want to change the complete geographical and ethnic structure of the Middle East. Then conflicts of global proportions will occur and Armageddon will happen," said Duraković.

He emphasizes that 'on the horizon he does not see any common sense that would appeal for stopping the cataclysm in the Middle East'.

"I do not understand how the Western, democratic world can support state, Zionist terror against Palestinians. It is as if the world has ridden Lucifer himself, and as if it is leading it towards the abyss," says Duraković.

He assessed that Europe is fundamentally hypocritical towards Gaza in the same way it was towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, stating that he 'is ashamed of his Europe today'.

"In Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992, they forbade the victim from defending itself. They allowed genocide to happen in the Srebrenica enclave. Then they assigned it precisely to those who committed the genocide. This is happening in the context of Islamophobia that is strengthening both in Europe and globally," he said.

For the West, the children of Palestine are game

He also says he feels sorry for those who died at the concert, killed by Hamas.

"Innocent people mostly suffer from terrorism. Terrorism is blind. The West sees, those who can influence Israel, how many hospitals are being destroyed, how many children are suffering, just as they knew about the Sarajevo safari, when the rich came and paid snipers to kill children in Sarajevo. We were game for them, just as the children in Palestine are game today," stated Duraković.

Duraković points out that Europe is ethnically disoriented and decadent.

"Children suffering in Ukraine and those suffering in Palestine should be treated the same way, if we are humanists. I am surprised how it is possible that the German establishment unreservedly supports the genocide in Gaza. What kind of nation is that, repeating the same mistake, supporting genocide for the second time. This is proof that Europe has no valid geostrategic or moral value," he said.

Asked who can stop Israel, he says:

"We have a miraculous inversion, it is not Israel that listens to America but the opposite. The Zionist lobby, and Christian Zionists – represented by evangelists, have enormous influence, so the American establishment dares not do anything contrary to the interests of Zionist Israel. Americans listen to Israel. I do not know who can stop that," explains Duraković.

Violence of this magnitude, such as that occurring in Ukraine, through Russian aggression, and the genocide being committed in Gaza, Duraković believes, cannot pass without very serious consequences. One of them will be the strengthening of terrorism on a global level, he said. "Such violence irritates people, provokes them and causes anger in people who cannot react otherwise than through terrorism. I condemn all and any terrorism. But desperate people will again kill people at concerts, in cinemas… And then, on the other hand, these terrorist acts will feed Islamophobia. One evil produces another evil. The world will become unsafe. Unfortunately, this will also affect us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. That Islamophobic stigma will be transferred to Bosnia and Herzegovina and it will not be easy for us," said Duraković.

About SDA, the Troika, the international community

Regarding the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he points out, the international community is most responsible.

"It is not taking adequate actions even though it has a High Representative who can do whatever he wants. He is above everything and everyone. They impose sanctions on Dodik and his children – that sounds caricatured to me. That is not how it is done. Dodik should have been removed immediately. We also have politicians in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who are politically sterile, who do not know how to lead proper actions, who have a subservient attitude towards Dodik and Čović. Bosnia and Herzegovina is very threatened," he assessed.

Duraković emphasized that Bosniak leaders do not have a clear strategy of resistance towards Dodik's and Čović's policies.

"If they cared about the state, they would not meet with them in taverns. They have no vision. They care about the distribution of chairs. They should learn from Kurti, who is a statesman, not a politician," he said and added:

"During the last elections, I openly favored a change – that the SDA goes into opposition, that some new people come. The SDA made huge mistakes in devastating the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they worked against the interests of Bosniaks and the state. However, when I saw what the Troika was doing, I realized that even worse ones came than the previous ones. They are making worse mistakes."

Assembly of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina

He also spoke about the Assembly of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I presented that to the public almost a year ago. We formed an initiative committee at the Academy of Sciences to organize an Assembly of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the homeland and in the diaspora where a critical level of intelligence would present their views on the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because Bosniaks cannot survive here without Bosnia and Herzegovina, that would be a new Gaza. And then we launched an initiative for civil societies to organize it. We held two or three meetings. However, papers arrived from the Croatian National Council, stating that they do not agree to two things – 'the pushing of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian identity, which is a denial of statehood, and they do not agree to any criticism of Christian Schmidt'," concluded Duraković.
