Dunović: House of Peoples of FBiH is the biggest place of blockades

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The end of January is the final deadline for an agreement on electoral reform. However, this time too, the arrival of Palmer and Eichhorst could be in vain. Some will boycott the talks due to the overall atmosphere in the country. The remaining negotiators have drawn red lines below which they will not go, N1 reports.

The Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and member of the Presidency of the Democratic Front, Milan Dunović, believes that the House of Peoples of FBiH is the biggest place of blockades and that it is necessary to reduce the powers of the House of Peoples of FBiH to the protection of vital entity interest.

"The biggest place of blockade in the functioning of the Federation is precisely the House of Peoples. In the past two years, maybe a little more, in the Constitutional Court of FBiH, out of nine constitutionally prescribed judges, we have five, even though the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council completed the competition procedure more than two years ago. But in practice, it happens that the President of FBiH, Marinko Čavara, does not want to finalize the appointment," said Dunović.
