Dujmović causes new disagreements in SDA: Why is Novalić protecting an HDZ minister?

The HDZ minister of culture and sports of the FBiH, Zora Dujmović, committed a series of criminal offenses when distributing over two million KM from this ministry, intended for the financing of cultural events significant for the FBiH in 2015 and supporting the renovation of the cultural-architectural heritage of the FBiH, writes the Patria news agency.

In doing so, she distributed money to companies that were not eligible to apply for the Public Call at all. Some of them, such as Večernjakov pečat, withdrew and refused to accept the money, but the role of Prime Minister Fadil Novalić remains unclear.

Namely, the top of the SDA demanded that such a decision be halted, although the contracts have already been signed, and the entire case is shelved.

- The SDA understands the justified dissatisfaction of seven cultural institutions (International Theatre Festival MESS – Scena MESS, East West Center, Bosnian National Theatre Zenica, Sarajevo Film Festival, Ars Aevi, Sarajevo Music Evenings SVEM, and Balet Fest) regarding the Decision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the FBiH on the transfer of funds for culture significant for BiH. It is unacceptable for the cultural segment of our society to be divided along ethnic lines or territorial representation – stated the SDA.

However, apart from one meeting he held with Dujmović and another minister from the FBiH Government, Novalić has not taken a more decisive step, and even the top of the SDA is questioning what Novalić is doing.

We must not allow Dujmović to cause new disagreements and divisions within the SDA. The matter is clear here and must be done according to the law – says our source,

The SDA demands that the Government of the Federation of BiH consistently implement its Decision on criteria, ensure the implementation of the law and transparency in the selection of beneficiaries.

Whether Novalić will act according to the decision of the party leadership and its bodies is not yet known even to the most prominent members of the Party of Democratic Action.
