Long queues of vehicles at five border crossings on exit from BiH

(Patria) - There are long queues of vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Gradiška, Doljani, Zupci, Gabela, and Osoje border crossings, while traffic is heavier entering Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Brod and Šepak border crossings. At the Popovi border crossing, there are long queues of vehicles in both directions. At other border crossings, traffic frequency occasionally increases, but passenger vehicles are currently not waiting longer than 30 minutes to cross the border. Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.

Traffic frequency is increased on roads leading from the interior towards the south, as well as the north of our country. With improved weather conditions, we are recording an increased number of cyclists, motorcyclists, and electric scooter users. We appeal to all road users to respect traffic regulations. Safety is the responsibility of all road users.

Traffic is suspended on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, as well as on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).

Works are underway on the main roads: Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, and Jablanica-Mostar (Donja Jablanica).

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
