Long queues at the entrances to Konjic and Mostar

(Patria) - Traffic is heavy on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particularly long queues at the entrances to Konjic and Mostar, reports BIHAMK.

There are long queues of vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Bosanska Gradiška, Izačić, Gradina, Doljani, Bijača, Gorica, Osoje, and Prisika, and at the Bosanski Brod border crossing entering our country.

BIHAMK notes that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers can access video surveillance cameras on the bihamk.ba website.

Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.

An increasing number of motorcyclists and cyclists are joining traffic, so BIHAMK appeals to all road users to drive more carefully and respect all traffic regulations.

Due to high daily temperatures, it is advised to travel longer distances in the early morning or evening hours.

Works are underway on the A-1 highway section Visoko-Podlugovi, as well as on the main roads: Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde, Sarajevo-Pale, Vrhpolje-Ključ, and Čatrnja-Kruškik-GP Bosanska Gradiška.

Due to active landslides, the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between Čemerno and Surdup tunnels) are highlighted.

Traffic is suspended on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, as well as on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5t are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.

Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
