Long queues at border crossings Velika Kladuša, Gradina and Bosanska Gradiška

(Patria) - There are long queues of passenger vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Velika Kladuša, Gradina and Bosanska Gradiška. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is currently flowing with delays of up to 30 minutes.

Traffic is banned for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tonnes are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the Šepak border crossing.

Repair works on a landslide are underway on a section of the M-17 main road Tarčin-Konjic (approximately 100m long), due to which traffic is regulated by traffic lights with alternating vehicle passage. Also on this section, pipeline laying works are in progress, causing traffic to slow down at the work site.

Due to damage to the bridge on the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, vehicles up to 30 tonnes travel in one lane, with a speed limit of 30 km/h, while traffic for vehicles over 30 tonnes is suspended.

On the main roads Ključ-Sanski Most (at the entrance to Sanski Most) and Stolac-Neum (at the entrance to Neum), due to works, traffic is suspended and redirected to bypasses.

Works are also being carried out on the main roads: Jelah-Doboj, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Travnik-Donji Vakuf (Komar), Jablanica-Potoci (in Donja Jablanica), Bijeljina-Rača, Čevljanovići-Nišići, at the roundabout at the entrance to Bosanska Gradiška, as well as in Sarajevo (on the transit route, from Bistrik towards Vrace). At the work sites, traffic moves slowly.

Due to regular servicing of the Oštrik and Vukov Gaj tunnels, on Monday, April 15 from 7:00 PM until Tuesday, April 16 until 6:00 AM, the Sarajevo north-Butila section will be closed. From Tuesday, April 16 from 7:00 PM until Wednesday, April 17 until 6:00 AM, the A-1 motorway section Sarajevo west-Sarajevo north and the entrance to the motorway from Safeta Zajke Street-Briješće-Butila-Sarajevo north will be closed.
