Dugalija received a delegation from the US Embassy: Support for prosecuting corruption and organized crime cases

(Patria) - Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, Meliha Dugalija, held a meeting with the head of the Office for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the US Embassy in BiH, Matan Mayer, and representatives of the US Embassy as part of anti-corruption activities supported by the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the meeting, strong support was expressed for the new leadership of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, headed by Acting Chief Prosecutor Meliha Dugalija, with the aim of prosecuting corruption and organized crime cases as one of the main priorities of this judicial institution.

Activities to be supported by the US Embassy in the coming period were agreed upon, with the aim of building an effective and efficient anti-corruption system in Sarajevo Canton.

The meeting was also attended by prosecutor Samir Selimović, who is also the head of the Department for Economic Crime and Corruption.
