Dudaković: From RS they would say: "Here comes Dudak against us"

Retired general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Atif Dudaković, in an interview with Klix.ba, rejected the possibility of being a candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH.

- You know how they would react from Republika Srpska (RS) if that happened. They would say: 'Here comes Dudak, he's coming against us' - Dudaković said.

BH News Agency Patria (NAP) yesterday published information from well-informed sources in USK that a group of parties from the Una-Sana Canton wants to nominate the heroic commander of the 5th Corps for the highest position.

However, General Dudaković, in an interview with the portal "Klix", did not show a willingness to accept it. He also confirmed that he was offered the prime minister position in USK.

- The fighters talked to me... They said in the sense: 'Would you, General, we will do this, we are asking'. But that's not it. In our current political relations, the stance of political parties in parliament is important. Regardless of the will of the citizens, you cannot do it without the assembly. Someone's two fingers are important - Dudaković said.

However, according to Klix, the general does not hide that he is concerned about the latest events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I am upset. It turns out that our struggle is futile. What is happening in our region in the 21st century. This is almost an Africanization of our region. Tribal conflicts, relationships, the influence of stronger others... They are directing us.
