(Patria) - A protest of state employees was held in Sarajevo. Their demands remain the same as before and concern, among other things, the adoption of the budget. They also expressed hope that the Law on Salaries will be operational as of June 1.
Radenko Mirković from the Union of State Employees stated what else they are highlighting through their demands,
"The employer's poor attitude towards unions. We do not want laws to be passed without the consent of unions. In the collective agreement, Articles 6 and 7 clearly state that all laws concerning the Labor Law and the Budget Law of BiH institutions must be harmonized with the unions," he stated.
He expressed hope that the Law on Salaries will be operational from June.
"The Law on Salaries that was adopted really did not pose a problem. We will act through amendments and, according to our information, there should be no issues with it coming into effect on June 1," Mirković said, as reported by N1.
He announced a meeting with the state Minister of Finance Srđan Amidžić for tomorrow.
