(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH at a session scheduled for today, starting at 12:00 PM, will consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of BiH. This amendment postpones the deadline for the establishment of the HJPC Integrity Department in order to avoid blocking the work of the HJPC. If the Council of Ministers of BiH adopts the amendments, they will enter into force only after both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH adopt them.
On the agenda is also the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the Appointment of the Legal Team for the Development of a Legal Protection Strategy for BiH's Interests regarding the issue of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel disposal at the Trgovska Gora location.
Among other things, the ministers will consider the Information on BiH's participation in the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe for 2023, as well as the Information on the use of the EU TAIEX assistance instrument in BiH for the period January 1 - December 31, 2023.
Among the agenda items are the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for the Fight against Organized Crime in BiH for 2023, as well as the Migration Profile of BiH for 2023.
