UAE citizen carried a revolver on a flight from Sarajevo to Dubai

Officers of the Border Police at Sarajevo Airport discovered a revolver in the checked baggage of A.J.A.H.H. (born 1987) on Wednesday, in cooperation with airport security officials.

The citizen of the United Arab Emirates was on a flight to Dubai and did not possess the appropriate documentation for carrying a weapon.

By order of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, the revolver was temporarily confiscated. Along with the report on the committed criminal offense under Article 8 of the Law on the Acquisition, Possession, and Carrying of Weapons and Ammunition of Sarajevo Canton - permit for the acquisition of weapons and ammunition, A.J.A.H.H. will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton for further proceedings, the BiH Border Police announced.
