SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The last day of the AJB DOC documentary film festival will feature three films: Bulgarian Dream by Srđan Šarenac, Vote for Kibera by Martin Pava, and House of the Little Star by Slađana Lučić, with the screening of which the festival will also close.
In the previous three days, twenty films were screened at the festival to great interest from the public and media, and the closing ceremony and festival awards will be held tonight at 8 PM at Sarajevo's Cinema City.
Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival AJB DOC is an international documentary film festival organized by Al Jazeera Balkans, in cooperation with Al Jazeera Media Network and the Al Jazeera Media Institute from Doha.
“In terms of tension and interesting stories, documentary films today can compete with feature films, and additionally, they have an educational aspect and raise awareness about a certain topic. I believe that documentary film has the power to change the world and consciousness,“ said Edhem Fočo, Director of the AJB DOC Film Festival during the festival's opening.
