On September 25, 2016, it will be two years since the death of SDA President Sulejman Tihić.
Sulejman Tihić was elected president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) at the Congress held in 2001. During his political career, he held several positions in the executive and legislative authorities, and in 2002 he was elected as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After a long and serious illness, he passed away in Sarajevo on September 25, 2014, and was buried on September 27 in Bosanski Šamac.
Today, a delegation of the SDA visited the grave of the late Tihić. After laying flowers, a tevhid was recited at the Mir Ahmed Beg Mosque in Bosanski Šamac at 12:00 PM.
