Second generation of Directorate cadets in the rank of police officer takes oath

MOSTAR, (Patria) - On February 2 this year, a ceremonial promotion of the second generation of cadets of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the rank of 'police officer' was held at the headquarters of the Agency for Education and Professional Training of Personnel in Mostar, on which occasion they were awarded certificates for successfully completed police training.

A total of 50 cadets of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH successfully completed basic police training at the first level for obtaining the rank of 'police officer', and will apply their acquired knowledge in performing tasks and duties within the competence of the Directorate.

During today's ceremony, the cadets of the Directorate in the rank of 'police officer', together with 20 cadets of the Border Police of BiH in the rank of 'junior inspector', took a solemn oath before the Deputy Minister of Security, Mijo Krešić.

The Director of the Directorate, Mirsad Vilić, in his address highlighted the importance of this event, as this reinforcement will significantly contribute to strengthening the existing police composition of the Directorate and give new strength in performing tasks and duties within the competence of the Directorate.

- Be those who will respect the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, laws and other regulations. Perform your police duty responsibly, impartially and lawfully, and promote the development and preservation of a democratic society, human rights and fundamental freedoms. Let professionalism, expertise and respect for the personality of citizens be the basic postulates of your work - Vilić said.

During this ceremonial event, the Deputy Minister of Security and the directors of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency, the Border Police of BiH and the Agency for Education and Professional Training of Personnel signed a Memorandum on the implementation of a distance learning system (e-learning). This system aims to improve the competencies and integrity of police officers and the overall operational capacities of the police bodies of our country through continuous knowledge renewal.
