Dritan Abazović congratulates BiH Independence Day

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On the occasion of March 1, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Bisera Turković, as well as to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Independence Day. We hope that two neighboring and friendly countries, in peace, prosperity and stability, will make the best decisions for our citizens, guided by the idea of building a prosperous Western Balkans that will be a symbol of coexistence, reconciliation and progress”, stated Dritan Abazović.

Abazović emphasizes that in these bleak times in the Western Balkans, it is necessary to gather around a common interest, which is accession to the European Union, while building bridges of cooperation.

“Montenegro respects international principles and the territorial integrity of BiH, fostering good neighborly relations in the Western Balkans as the foundation for further progress. Let us turn to the future and reconciliation, because only in this way can we take a step further in building a better future for our countries”, concluded Abazović.
