Dramatic Finale: Nurkić and Musa Lead BiH to Victory over Sweden

In the second Eurobasket qualifier, BiH defeated Sweden 74:71 in a packed "Mirza Delibašić" hall in Skenderija, writes the BiH news agency Patria. The basketball players were cheered on by the football Dragons as well, who are preparing in Zenica for their match against Estonia on September 6.

The match had a dramatic finish, with crucial points scored by 17-year-old Džanan Musa. Jusuf Nurkić and Musa scored the most points with 19 each. The BiH basketball players' next match is on September 10 in Tuzla against Russia.

Head coach Damir Mulaomerović said after the match that the players were under great pressure, but he had special words of praise for the young Musa.

- Džanan Musa is a project of BiH basketball. He is 17 years old, and he plays so maturely and bravely. Players like Mirza should be waited for, he is our leader. Everyone did a great job tonight - believes the head coach.

- We need to repeat the first half from Perm. With this kind of atmosphere, we can beat Russia and go to Sweden relaxed to achieve that victory. I believe in my guys. I believe that with Mirza in the match in Tuzla, with this kind of atmosphere, we can achieve victory - said Mulaomerović.
