Drama in Parliament: Trojka and HDZ seek to continue extraordinary session at midnight, Mešalić tells them they are for arrest!

(Patria) - After the 3rd regular session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament concluded around 10:40 PM, the Speaker of the House, Mirjana Marinković-Lepić, stated that "conditions have been met to continue the interrupted extraordinary session of the House" and that the material from the President of the Election and Appointment Committee, Mladen Bošković, has been submitted!

Nezir Pivić (SDA) asked Marinković-Lepić whether the committee session was held at all, as the material states there was no quorum.

"You signed it. What happened in the meantime to schedule a session. This is plagiarism what you sent us. Do you know what you are doing. What kind of circus is this. Do you know what you are doing. What are you doing to the highest legislative body. This is a shame and humiliation of this body.
It is a shame that we are dealing with this in such a way. This is a classic fraud. We received a report from someone who did not hold a committee meeting and that the conditions for holding the session were not met. Nothing has changed. That session cannot continue," said Pivić.

Head of the DF Club, Mahir Mešalić, said that this is "for arrest" and that what is happening is a catastrophe.

"You want to trick us into saying that you held a session which you, as the Speaker, stated was not held. It is now 11 PM. We will prevent this. Be prepared for anything here. What you are going to do is violence and this is a lie. I don't understand this, that you are making fools of us. What do you have to discuss if you don't have a quorum and cannot make decisions. You are not working according to the law, you are not working according to the Rules of Procedure, you are consciously violating it. You could have waited five, ten days to do it. I expect employees to defend the Constitution, to defend the state of BiH. Neither you nor Bošković will play games. These tricks that SDP and other traitors have agreed to will not pass. The Constitution and the law are number 1 and that's it. If you have a majority, it doesn't mean you have to violate the state. If you touch the state and the Constitution, I will defend it. I will not allow you to carry out violence here. Neither you, nor Milorad Dodik, nor Dragan Čović," said Mešalić.

We remind you that the extraordinary session was interrupted today because the Election and Appointment Committee session was not held due to a lack of quorum. At that session, Trojka and HDZ wanted to appoint two new missing members to the Committee and replace two members, in order to secure a majority for Marin Vukoja's proposal for a constitutional judge.

Mešalić requested a half-hour break, and the session is now adjourned.
