BiH is in the final of the European Championship after defeating Spain in a dramatic battle with two overtimes for a final score of 86:78, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
After the official score was 63:63 in the match BiH - Spain, overtime was played for advancement to the final. In the first overtime, both teams scored ten points each and reached a new tie 73:73, but in the second overtime, the Dragons dominated. Musa and Čampara scored 24 points each, while Sikiraš scored 23.
The Spaniards didn't even react, the BiH boys' baskets rained down. Spain scored only five points, and BiH scored 13.
It should be noted that Spain was close to victory in regular time, but Čampara's three-pointer tied the score at 63:63 with seven seconds left. Spain had possession but did not score.
Neither team achieved a significant result over the other in the first three quarters, and at the end of the third quarter, the score was 47:47. Josip Pandža's players also made several mistakes during the third quarter, but we can justify this with fatigue, as well as the great desire to advance to the final, considering that this is already a historic success for BiH.
