A Turkish Airlines flight from Bangkok made an emergency landing in New Delhi after a threatening message was found in the toilet of an Airbus A330 carrying 134 passengers, the airline and Indian security forces reported on Tuesday, according to the Patria news agency.
Turkish Airlines planes were subjected to a series of false bomb threats in April and again this weekend. The latest was discovered after three hours of flight, a company spokesperson said.
Indian authorities reported that they are searching the aircraft for explosives. If the threat proves to be false, the plane will continue its flight to Istanbul.
