Dragan Čović met with Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović met today with Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein ef. Kavazović, at the seat of the Riyaset in Sarajevo, on the occasion of Kurban-Bajram, one of the two Muslim holidays.

Čović told reporters after the meeting that he was pleased to have visited Reis Kavazović and had the opportunity to personally congratulate him and all Bosniak Muslims in BiH, and beyond, on the great holiday of Bajram.

"We also discussed topics on how to bring relations between the Bosniak and Croat peoples and everyone in BiH closer together," Čović stated after the meeting.

Chairman Čović had earlier, in his congratulatory message to Reis-ul-ulema Husein Kavazović and Muslims on the occasion of Kurban-Bajram, expressed his wish for them to spend it in peace and prosperity.
