Dragan Čović left the session of the House of Peoples due to a meeting at the US Embassy, delegates began discussing the Budget

(Patria) - The session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament continued after a 15-minute break, and Dragan Čović, who left the session for a meeting at the US Embassy regarding the Southern Gas Interconnection, did not appear in the hall.

There is a quorum for work at the session, and delegates voted to add several items to the agenda, with the first three being appointments to parliamentary bodies. Item 4 is the Proposal of the Budget of Institutions and International Obligations for 2025.

The agenda also includes the Proposal for Amendments and Supplements to the Law on the Armed Forces of BiH, proposed by Džemal Smajić. Items related to the adoption of several international agreements, proposed by Safet Softić, have also been included.

Sredoje Nović took the floor and requested that the appointment decisions be declared harmful to the vital interest. After voting by caucuses, the first of the three items did not have the required majority in either the Croat Caucus or the Bosniak Caucus.

Voting proceeded for the second item as well, but there was no general majority, so a Commission will be formed to try to resolve this issue. Each Caucus will delegate one member to the commission. The same happened for the third decision.

The Serb Caucus proposed Radovan Kovačević to the Commission, the Bosniak Caucus proposed Dženan Đonlagić, and the Croat Caucus proposed Zdenko Ćosić.

At 3 PM, the consideration of the Proposal for the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2025 began under an urgent procedure.
