Dr. Cerić: Stop the continuation of genocide in Srebrenica

The genocide in Srebrenica continues. Disturbing news is again coming from the smaller BiH entity, whose Ministry of Education and Culture once again denies the existence of the Bosnian language, as well as other subjects from the so-called national group of subjects - warns Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In this way, Bosniak children are denied the right to demonstrate their knowledge through school competitions in the Bosnian language, history, and Islamic religious education, thereby violating their basic human rights and continuing the agony already experienced by their peers from Konjević Polje.

- It is shameful and regrettable that the state authorities of our country, as well as representatives of the international community, are negligent towards the violation of basic human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so there are no adequate reactions to the behavior of the authorities in Banja Luka - considers Dr. Cerić.

He wonders how not to react to the statement of the Pedagogical Institute of Republika Srpska, which, among other things, says: „The Constitution of RS does not recognize the 'Bosnian language', so it is pointless to include subjects from something that does not exist in the competition calendar.“

- We have had enough of such provocations, and those who do this must understand that our patience also has its limits. At one time, Hitler denied the existence of Jews, and Apartheid denied the existence of the black race. Europe and the entire world must understand that the Constitution invoked by the authorities from Banja Luka is discriminatory and borders on fascism. Therefore, I call on all anti-fascists to raise their voices - emphasizes Dr. Cerić.

- What about the Bosniaks, especially those who swore to protect the human rights of everyone in our country? Where are they and what are they doing? Do they have a conscience? Why are Bosniak children again left at the mercy of well-known violators of human rights, who are not as strong as we are weak, divided, irresponsible, with a subservient consciousness that shames every healthy, honorable, and proud Bosniak - points out Dr. Cerić.

The continuation of ethnic cleansing and constant violation of human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in its smaller entity, must stop, warns Dr. Cerić.
