Dr. Cerić sends congratulations to ef. Kavazović and all believers

On the occasion of the upcoming Kurban-Bajram, Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sent congratulations to the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, and all believers in our country and the world, reports the Patria agency.

Dear Haji Reisu-l-ulema,

Every era has its signs, its verses, and so does our current time have its signs, the most obvious of which remind us of the importance of sincere intention and clear words that unite people on the path of truth and justice. Of course, every era also has its people who are ready to make sacrifices for the common good. Kurban-Bajram reminds us precisely of the need for sacrifice in the name of God, and for the benefit of humanity. Almighty God does not seek the blood of the sacrifice, but rather an honest heart, a pure soul, and truthful words from man. Therefore, it is important that in these blessed days we open our hearts, offer the best from our souls, and speak sincere words to one another, because only then can we preserve the unity of faith and the ummah.

Respected Haji Reisu-l-ulema,

Knowing that your heart is open, that your soul is noble, and that your word is sincere, I wish to reciprocate with my open heart, honest soul, and sincere word, and to say that I am always and everywhere at your disposal in your endeavor to lead the Islamic Community in Allah's pleasure, to the honor and pride of our people, and for the peace and security of all people of goodwill.

Therefore, I ask you to convey my sincere Bayram greetings to all muftis, imams, muderris, and all Muslims, members of the Islamic Community, with a prayer that Almighty Allah grant us the will, intellect, and strength to each do what we know and can for the benefit of our people and state, to be a sign of peace and security for all people and nations in our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
