Dr. Cerić in Goražde: Ensure a future for the youth

Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, called on young people at an election rally in Goražde last night to stay in their country and build their happiness and future there, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Young people are the future of our country. It is difficult for me to watch them leave for foreign lands. However, I am glad that they show and prove in the world how much they can do, how smart and capable they are, how willing they are to fight for their better tomorrow. They should strive just as hard in their own country, and we should help them in this – said Dr. Cerić.

In addition to giving them false promises and false hopes, he added, politicians in power have done nothing to help young people.

- Instead of taking care of young people and providing them with conditions for quality education, work, a happy and secure future, they offer them political intrigues, intimidate them with others and different people, and blame others and different people for everything that is wrong. Young people should be supported, worked with, and built up. These young people are also our children. Therefore, let's help our children – emphasized Dr. Cerić.

The attitude towards young people, he added, is an example of the absence of morality in politics.

- Instead of dealing with the concrete problems of this society, politicians in power are exclusively preoccupied with their own interests and fully engaged in protecting the positions they obtained through lies and deception. They are trying the same thing again, and when our friends from the world warn them, they call their friends enemies. This does not lead us to a better tomorrow – concluded Dr. Cerić.

Dr. Cerić also took this opportunity to call for unity among Bosniaks, emphasizing that the country cannot be built on quarrels, divisions, and shifting blame to others.

- The fate is in our hands and only ours, but we must become aware of it. Only then, together with other peoples, will we be able to build a modern, prosperous, and happy Bosnia and Herzegovina, ready for Euro-Atlantic integration. Only in this way can we preserve the country and organize the state – said Dr. Cerić.
