Dr. Cerić: I extend a hand of cooperation to all citizens of BiH

After Bobovac and Milo near Visoko, Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held a pre-election rally in Jajce, at the AVNOJ Museum, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Many will say that I only shock, so here is another shock. Many, as former Reis-ul-ulema, certainly could not imagine me under the bust of Josip Broz Tito and addressing from a podium from which he also addressed - said Dr. Cerić, addressing the attendees from the podium from which the AVNOJ councilors in Jajce also addressed.

From that very place, from the source of brotherhood, unity, and anti-fascism, Dr. Cerić conveyed that no one has a monopoly on anti-fascism, nor on Tito.

- There were good things in the former Yugoslavia, and it bothers me that some are now monopolizing Tito and using him for personal gain, and considering what and how they are doing, they shouldn't even mention Tito or anti-fascism. Tito was something else... they are something else - emphasized Dr. Cerić.

He added that the achievements and messages of AVNOJ are still valid today, especially for those who would divide or appropriate this country.

- To our dear fellow citizens, Serbs and Croats, but also Jews, Roma, Albanians, and all others, I say that I extend a hand of cooperation to them and that I share their concerns about the situation in our society. I invite them, in the spirit of togetherness, to organize the state for the joy and happiness of every person in this beautiful country of ours. I want to assure all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina that I have every inhabitant of this country in my heart, regardless of religion and nationality, and that I will strive to ensure that there is no poor person in our country, neither in Banja Luka, nor in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Foča, Mostar, Grude, Višegrad, Trebinje, Cazin, Gacko, Brčko, Orašje... because our country is worthy of our love and mutual respect and appreciation - concluded Dr. Cerić.
