Dr. Cerić Attends Donation Handover in Šerići

Dr. Mustafa Cerić in the village of Šerići near Zenica attended the distribution of donations for 13 most vulnerable families, whose houses were completely destroyed in this year's natural disasters, Patria reports.

The donation worth 21,445 euros was collected, on the initiative of Dr. Cerić, by Bosniaks from the congregation in Frankfurt, and today it was personally handed over by Imam Ahmed ef. Kajoćević, Mersudin Ćehedarević and Ilijas Kurtanović.

Šerići devastated in May floods

- Thank you for this great help to the affected families, but also to our Local Community, where the school walls cracked and water pipes burst. This will help us return the school to students and drink clean water again - said Derviš Kovačević, deputy president of the Local Community Šerići, thanking the donors.

Ilijas Kurtanović, originally from the village of Tuzinje in Sandžak, as the largest donor, said that his heart is full because he saw that the donation reached the right hands.

- It is especially important for me to mention hajji Jusuf Tahiri, who set aside from his pension for the donation for the people of Šerići - emphasized Kurtanović, adding that it was a special honor for him to hand over the donations in the presence of Dr. Cerić, "who has so far, and will always, work for Bosnia and Bosniaks."
