Threats of state dissolution are announcements of new bloodshed and genocide, because there is no and cannot be any peaceful or spontaneous dissolution and division of the state, believes Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reacting to the latest report of the International Crisis Group (ICG) on the situation in our country, reports the Patria news agency.

Special attention should be paid to the statements of Drago Kalabić (SNSD), a deputy in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who claims that the state will fall apart before it repays its foreign debt. Kalabić should refrain from such statements.

- That is dangerous and unacceptable; this navigation of the international community towards the dissolution of the state could backfire on someone. Otherwise, frequent statements, threats and ominous announcements by politicians, but also by certain international non-governmental organizations, about the dissolution of Bosnia and Herzegovina aim to accustom the world public to the thesis of the gradual disintegration and disappearance of this state. We tell them that this is a futile job. A state that was defended by the lives of its best sons can only become better, stronger and more united - Dr. Cerić says.

However, as he points out, mentioning black scenarios, warnings about the dysfunctionality of the state, the inability of its leaders and constitutional solutions that bring new divisions, all patriots, especially Bosniaks, must take more than seriously.

- When patriots are silent, only nationalists and enemies of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina are heard. Those who have led the state and the Bosniaks in recent years, through their inaction and incompetence, have brought all of us together into a situation where, instead of development and strengthening, in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond, talk is about dissolution and division - emphasizes Dr. Cerić.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, he adds, is entering a fatefully important period in which the strength and will of those who love this state, not out of personal and financial interests, and who know how to appreciate the freedom that their struggle brought them, must prevail.

- Bosniaks must understand the messages being sent to them. If the enemies of the state are speaking louder and louder about dissolution and division, then they have obviously assessed that the current leaders of the Bosniaks and Bosnia and Herzegovina are not an obstacle to their ambitions. It is obvious that the Bosniaks have ceased to be a sufficiently strong political factor and that they have not shown that they know how to take care of the state - believes Dr. Cerić.
